10 & Under League

What is the 10 & Under League?

Ten and under (10U) players are girls of ages 9 through 10. Age classification is based on the player's age on January 1 of each year. The League plays its games in the spring (April - June) and fall (Sept - Oct). The 10U league emphasizes the teaching and coaching of fundamental softball skills, and builds on the lessons learned at the Coach Pitch and T-ball level.

Our philosophy is to have as many parents participating as possible- even if it just means a body to catch and throw with a young player. It is a monumental task for one or two coaches to work with 10 or more players- most of which have little or no experience. When and Where are the Games?

Annandale Community Park #1	South Run Park #3 (SYC Field)	Rutherford Park field #1	Wakefield Forest ES #1 (NVGSA Field)
East on Littler River Turnpike across the Beltway. North on Hummer Road. Entrance to park is about 1/4 mile north of Little River Turnpike. Drive to end of park. Field is the right field from the parking lot.	From Braddock Road, south on Burke Lake Road. East on Fairfax County Parkway. Right onto Reservation Drive. Park in first parking lot. Field is on other side of soccer field.	From intersection of Braddock Road and Guinea Roads, north on Guinea Road about 3/4 mile. Turn left into park. Field is behind the trees.	From Braddock Road, north on Guinea Road. Right on Elizabeth Lane. Left on Iva Land. School is on right. Park in school lot. Field is in the near left corner of the four fields.
