10 & Under League
What is the 10 & Under League?
Ten and under (10U) players are girls of ages 9 through 10. Age classification is based on the player's age on January 1 of each year. The League plays its games in the spring (April - June) and fall (Sept - Oct). The 10U league emphasizes the teaching and coaching of fundamental softball skills, and builds on the lessons learned at the Coach Pitch and T-ball level.
Our philosophy is to have as many parents participating as possible- even if it just means a body to catch and throw with a young player. It is a monumental task for one or two coaches to work with 10 or more players- most of which have little or no experience.
